We’re back from taking a break to finish up some new tracks for our next full length album. But wait, didn’t we just release an album, “Here There Be Serpents“, in January?  Well, yeah, and the songs just keep coming and rocking even harder so we have to create another one with “Texarcane”, “Cocktail Talk”, “Mea Culpa Maybe” and “Piss Throne”, to name a few! Come rock out with us!

Got the mastering done for “Here There Be Serpents” and it will be hitting the presses soon, featuring incredible artwork by J. T. Dockery.

“Here There Be Serpents” presents the evolution of our rock ‘n roll sound in a smart, swaggering Molotov cocktail of poetry, blues & Americana with take-no-prisoners guitar rock that is fun, dangerous and apologizes for nothing.

Release date is January 1st, 2013 CD release show is January 10th at Comet Tavern!

We’ve just completed the recording and mixing phase for our second album, “Here There Be Serpents”, at the legendary Egg Studios.  There’s no doubt about it, French Letters love rock ‘n roll.

Mike reads his poems based on its character and essence. And he also reads like he’s fronting a rock band, which he is. There’s some sway and arrogance to his delivery when he’s waxing about sex and drugs, there’s black strap molasses in there when he drips about rejection and falling, and there’s nocturnal storms in his throat when he’s burrowing into flashes of anger that can pop in his words.
